''Olanda Beach House'', A beautiful beach villa has its own swimming pool, 4 large A/C bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms located on Thalpe`s beach alongside a rare lagoon and a turquoise pool for safe swimming.

Olanda Beach House was renovated 6 years ago and extended in a charming and sympathetic manner. The 1-acre coconut grove remains untouched but immaculately clipped lawns, and pretty Araliya (frangipani) trees lead to the sandy beach for Safe swimming and barbeques. The main villa has an open, white pillared design with high ceilings and terracotta flooring. The wrap-around verandah is furnished with planter’s chairs and rattan chairs and occasional tables. You can sit in the verandah by day looking out to the sea or under the star filled skies at night. This splendid Villa comes with 4 unique double bedrooms with en-suite open roofed bathrooms and private gardens, Master bathroom with a double bath, Separate dining pavilion, beach terrace, Pool terrace, kitchen, staff quarters, laundry room & four staff members - cook, room boy, Gardner & night watchmen, well trained to make your holiday perfect, they will baby-sit your kids if you like and want them too. The cook is excellent with tropical food like coconut puddings. Main building has the 3 bedrooms, large living room with 4 very comfortable large sofas and it’s decorated with some special antique pieces, 2nd building with 1 bedroom, dining and pool pavilion over looking the swimming pool and the ocean. The pool pavilion has a pool table for entertainment. The sporting equipments for visitors to play cricket and volleyball is also available in the Beach House

Villa IF,is perfectly located for a satisfying beach holiday. It is perched on a beautiful beach on the Galle coast with it's privet entrance to the beautiful lagoon for safe swimming, the peace of palm trees and green grass surrounds the villa with its own magic. the historic town of Galle – one of the largest 'living' forts in the world – is only a few kilometers away.
IF Villa is characterized by space and is very private. Surrounding this magnificent five-bed roomed Dutch Villa in a sweeping sea of green is a two-acre tropical garden with well clipped grassy lawns, swaying palms and scented frangipani trees. Bordering the garden is a stunning strip of beach enhanced by a beautiful coral lagoon that the villa has private access to. Since it offers some of the safest year-round swimming and snorkeling on the south coast, IF Villa is good choice for families with children.

An open courtyard with lotus pond marks the entrance to this stylish colonial villa and leads into a spacious living room and all 5 beautiful bed rooms bordered on three sides by wrap-around pillared verandahs characteristic of a southern walawe or ancestral home. Sumptuously cushioned sofas within the villa and plentiful planters’ chairs on the clay tiled verandah offer the ideal location for both socializing and serenity as you gaze over the swimming pool in the garden to the glittering Indian Ocean beyond.

''Dalip House'', A few miles along the coast from Galle. The village of Talpe is home to three of the Olanda villas. ''DALIP'' is ideal for a big family as it has a kids pavilion with two bedrooms complete with TV and play arias for children. A part from this there are 4 double bedrooms, a lounge, and a swimming pool overlooking a huge Pham garden leading to the sea.
A newly built villa with a Balinese influence, the Dalip House has a wide beach frontage. The waves are challenging and to be shown respect. Fishermen perch on their stilts just to the right of the private beach gate. Dalip House has polished stone flooring, which encourages cool bare foot living. Timber ceilings and shutters channel the view out over the garden towards the Indian Ocean.Dalip House has three double rooms each in separate pavilions and is located at the front of the villa allowing you to gaze out to sea whilst still in bed. There is a children’s' pavilion with a twin room, single room and small sitting area. All doubles have an ensuite shower. The children's wing shares a bathroom with shower.

Beach Place

''Beach Place'', The Beach place is an upstairs house with 3 double bed rooms and one twin bed room with ensuite bathrooms. It's called it's name as it's right on the beach with steps going down to the ocean.


The Beach place is an up stair house with 3 double bed rooms with en-suite bathrooms and a study. This could be converted in to a kid’s room if necessary. It’s called Beach place as its right beside the beach with steps going down to the ocean. The villa comes with a cook, room boy & night watchman. If you’re lucky, you can buy your fresh fish strait from the ocean. The cooks will barbeque it for you. Beach place is accomplished with a half indoor swimming pool which is in the middle of the house with a beautiful water feature. The beach place is designed for beach lovers.

There are 2 master suites with “elephant” beds measuring 8 ft x 8 ft. 2 large double bedrooms and 2 twin rooms. All bedrooms are air conditioned and all beds are 4 poster, fitted with mosquito nets. There is an air-conditioned sitting room with cable TV, an open-air dining pavilion overlooking the swimming pool and a chill-out pavilion for lazy afternoons. Pavilions are wired for music with iPOD connection. A full staff of cook, houseboy, room girls and a night watchman will take care of you during your stay

"Victoria" is a beautiful 5 bedroom villa set in a coconut grove on the beach with landscaped gardens overlooking the Indian Ocean and located only 8 kms from the historic town of Galle. Built by a leading Australian architect for himself, Victoria is a contemporary interpretation of a traditional Sri Lankan house furnished with antique doors and furniture.

There is a sense of tranquillity from the minute you enter ‘Victoria Villa’. Approach through the lily pond courtyard and cross over the stepping stones into your haven. A new building of 15 years in a classic colonial style of open verandahs, generous archways and white pillars. Terracotta and granite floors accompanied by natural air-flow keep the villa cool and the mosquitoes at bay.

‘Victoria Villa’ is ideal for a family or group of friends looking for relaxation by the coast and within easy reach of Galle’s history, Unawatuna’s snorkelling and Yala safaris. A fresh and bright villa, filled with reproduction Dutch style antiques. Three or four open verandahs and loggias offer everyone an escape to solitude if so desired. The large and neatly manicured lawn, peppered with swaying coconut trees and palms, has sunloungers around the 12 metre pool and steps down to the sandy Thalpe beach.

Only paddling is safe here, walk to the bay 1km along to find swimming-friendly waves. The 3 staff are friendly and efficient and manager ‘Nicky’ will help with any excursions or shopping advice.
